Is it really Judgment Day? Harold Camping from Family Radio, based in California seems to believe it. (Not to be confused with Family Life Network.)
We need to go back to biblical truth here. God tells us that not even His Son, Jesus Christ knows the hour and the day in which He will return. So I believe it is unlikely that Harold knows before Christ himself.
God can use circumstances such as these for His good. This one seems to be an easy one to look at.
First, if you are a believer in Christ, you trust God, love others, and believe He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ to die for our sins, then we need to reflect upon what we are doing to make sure others know about the One and the Only Jesus Christ.
Second, if you are not a believer or you have fallen away from God, now is the time to return to His trusting arms or to entrust Him with your life for the first time.
We all will be falling at His feet when He returns - will you be acting on your own as a believer or being forced to His feet as a lover of satan. You know the old adage if you are not for me you are against me. There is no middle ground for God - you either believe in Him or you believe in His counterpart the devil.
