God never promised that life as a Christian would be made easy. He tell us that brothers are born for a time of adversity - hard times. (Proverbs 17:17)
That is why Paul also tells us to rejoice, give thanks and praise to the Lord our God for all the trials and tribulations we undergo. Knowing that these difficulties bring us closer to our Father, closer to His promises (Zion - heaven on earth - no more tears, anger, bitternes. Only glory - true happiness), and prepares us to fight the battle of the mind we call life.
So each and everyday instead of asking "why?," I ask "what?" What Father do you need me to undergo today? What Father do I need to endure today's challenges? Grant me the attitude to persevere, the endurance to proceed, and your wisdom to walk the right path.
You will be amazed and overwhelmed by our Father's response. The impossible becomes possible, the unbearable becomes tolerable....Stop asking why and utilize our Father's grace for His glory.
