The loss of a loved one!

God is glorious!

My mother has just passed away.  She lived 80 good, solid, happy, fulfilling years.  Twelve children, over 30 grandchildren, marriages, parties, and now her first great-grandchild on the way.  She wanted to see that.  But she was oh so tired.  Weak heart, trouble breathing, doctors upon doctors - how she disliked the constant prodding.

God is peaceful!

God holds me and assures me she is with Him.  She has been saved by His amazing grace!  Give glory to God!

The sad part would have been if there was no resurrection.  No forgiveness of sins.  No promise of everlasting life.  No opportunity  to be with the Lord.  Without our Saviour's sacrifice we would all have been damned to the everlasting fire never to rise with the saints.

My mother took the Lord into her heart within the last few years.  A hard decision for her to make because she was not sure if my father had done the same and she wanted to firmly believe that she would see him again.  My father, a devout catholic, I am not sure if he understood the necessity of not just being a nice guy but truly trusting our Father in Heaven.  I was young when he passed so I cannot be absolutely sure.

My mom is at peace now.  On to the next stage of her existence.  The one we are all striving to reach.  The reason we run the race of serving Christ.

Take Jesus into your heart today.  Serve your Heavenly Creator and not that of this world.  It is a far more peaceful and loving existence while we are here on earth and an awesome promise of happiness when we have completed our work here.

Praise God for His everlasting mercy and love.  Thank you, Jesus, for sacrificing yourself so that we may live through You.

He lives!

How awesome He is! All glory and honor be yours Almighty Father! Have a great and blessed day my brothers and sisters! Love, Mary Don't forget to post testimonies, encouragement stories, prayer request.......we are all family. Not a believer or follower. Read more about Jesus. Allow His amazing gift to free you in your life today! Not a believer or follower.  Read more about Jesus.  Allow His amazing gift to free you in your life today!
