I am oh so tired lately, Lord. Worn down, let down, put down. I can't keep up with the wants and needs of my family at times. They change so dramatically.
I go to my closet to reach out for You, call upon Your Name, and to cry. I don't want them to see me so miserable.
You remind me that my help comes from You. You, Lord, rejuvenate me, love me, hold me, and tell me its going to be all right. You, Lord, are the only one I can trust to support me along the way.
Why do we suffer these circumstances? Because we are your servants. Here to serve others and not that of our own desires.
We suffer because our Savior suffered far more for us. Jesus was born for us. Jesus lived for us. Jesus was persecuted for us. Jesus died for us.
My Lord suffered personal rejection from family and friends. He underwent excruciating beatings and humiliation. He took the cross although He never met me.
Therefore we need to bear our crosses daily. Knowing that our suffering is far less than what Jesus suffered.
We take up our cross so that we may work steadily towards our goal of coming home to you.
Praise be Your holy name!
May all glory and honor be Yours, Almighty Father!
