Oh, Lord, I know
that Satan is a defeated foe.
For I live for You
and You in me.
I walk happily in your grace
to shine light in others face.
So they too might know your glory!
It is an ongoing battle, Father, to rid myself of the anger and resentment and depression. Satan keeps taunting me and he gets me down for a while, but through the power of your Holy Spirit I am victorious!
You have cleansed me, restored me, and renewed my spirit. Keep me distant from those things that hinder me to be joyful in all circumstances. Break down the walls within me that harden my heart towards you and others.
Thank you, Father, for not forsaking me. I ask for a blanket of forgiveness on those who have hurt me. May your light shine upon their lives.
I faithfully strive to be the perfect Christian that you need me to be in Christ!
You are my rock and fortress!
