How could I have allowed myself to be fooled yet again?
How could I have allowed my thoughts to be held captive and robbed of my peace?
Like a thief in the night the enemy stalks us and feeds upon our weaknesses leaving us empty and shattered.
We need not fear! Thank you, Oh Lord! You have once again lifted me higher!
Reminding me that in our weaknesses you become strong and are glorified!
It is then that everyone will see your almighty, righteous hand!
Come to me my children and I will give you rest!
Thank you, Oh Lord, for being so forgiving, merciful, kind, and just!
My faith is not weak but has been strengthened in you! You shall not let my foot slip!
It is hard in these days to keep ourselves firmly planted. Our faith tested to the limits. It may seem that we are failing and falling to our own demise. But we need not fear as the Lord is always there prepared to catch us and make us one with Him again.
The enemy will not win over us. He is already a defeated foe! Our Lord God is here and waiting for you to cry out to Him. I am weak, Lord, but in you I am strong! Fear not!
