Success According to.....

Success can be defined as wealth, fame, and position...God and His Word defines success as becoming the person God has intended you to be.  He already has a plan for your life and has called you to a position He has prepared for you.  The Lord is ready to help you reach these goals he has set for you.

As explained yesterday, the Lord asks us to meditate on His Word daily and to keep His laws.  He promises to never leave us and to always be available to us.   He is the only true being who will love us unconditionally and never forsake us in our time of need.  His Word - the Bible - is the only success book we will ever need to reach our prosperity.

Stop thinking that you are not winning and that God does not intend to use your life for good.  Look at success God's way and see the many blessings you have from Him.  Start following His plan for triumphant living.

Step 1.  Set goals according to God's will.  God, the Father, has a tailor made plan for all believers.  Following it requires regular prayer and Scripture meditation. Only when our minds are focused upon Him can we discern the proper course for our lives.

Step 2.  Walk obediently before God.  The Bible is packed with workable principles, because the Lord expects His people to use them.  When we are applying His Word to our daily life, we cannot help living victoriously, even in times of trial and "defeat."

Step 3.  Use gifts for God's glory.  Every believer is given the Holy Spirit as  a Helper and GuideFurthermore, when a person is saved, he or she receives one or more spiritual gifts.  God provides the Spirit and our gifts to aid in accomplishing the tasks he sets before us.

Stop defeating yourself and live victoriously through God and His Word.  Success is conditional.  God will not help us achieve goals that are outside His will.  His ultimate plan is to transform you into the image of Jesus Christ, which is a rare kind of success indeed.  He has already mapped out the perfect plan to get you from where you are to a flourishing spiritual life.  Pray, meditate, and listen for Him.

Proverbs 3:5-12 (New International Version)

 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
       and lean not on your own understanding;
 6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
       and he will make your paths straight. [a]
 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
       fear the LORD and shun evil.
 8 This will bring health to your body
       and nourishment to your bones.
 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth,
       with the firstfruits of all your crops;
 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing,
       and your vats will brim over with new wine.
 11 My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline
       and do not resent his rebuke,
 12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves,
       as a father [b] the son he delights in.
