I have not been here as much as should I like or as much as I should be...writing for the Lord God. I sometimes feel I have nothing of interest to anyone to say...and other times feel I have pages to give but simply do not make the time. Oh, I will get to that.
Its hard to fit everything into our days. Prioritizing is a problem area for me.
These past two weeks we have had visiting pastors to our church due to our home pastor being on vacation.
It is so awesome how God can bring other people into our churches, into our lives. People who do not know us personally. Yet, use them to reach us in areas that we need to hear encouragement or convicting words.
The first pastor had spoken of buying back time. Obedience. How many mistakes we make and how many regrets we have for misused time.
The second pastor spoke of Obedience in faith. The three things we need to walk in obedience: Listen, willingness to act, and commitment.
Are we really living for the Lord? Are we doing as he asks us to do or are we just idly sitting by misusing our time?
I want to live for the Lord. Sometimes I feel there is so much more He would want me to do. I have a desirous heart to serve but sometimes my own fears get in the way.
Through the Lord anything is possible. We need not fear anyone for His grace is always carrying us wherever His will is taking us.
