I know I have been striving for obedience especially where my husband and I are concerned. It is hard to be the submissive wife when you do not quite agree with your husband and his choices.
However, I received a very unexpected blessing today! Just thought I would share it as it is a good example of faith in action.
In 2008 before we moved, I joined one of these PTC sites to make extra money. A PTC site is one where marketers will advertise their website and pay to have someone like you and me click on it for a penny. Well pennies add up and so do referral monies with these sites. In fact I had racked up over $3,000. Buuuut, everything seemed to be going wrong with the site. Although I really felt I was driven by God in my choices to join etc. No one was getting paid, everyone was angry. I would leave the site. Then be guided back to it to click some more and see if the would follow through.
Well in the past few months they have recovered from some major losses and guess what? I received my first payment from them - after almost three years of waiting. $121 of my $3,000 they owe me. Awesome! Praise God! Chunk change? Not to me when I do not have one cent to my own name. This is great.
Well just thought I would share what a little faith and persistence can do!
