You are loved deeply.

Sometimes life's circumstances or the people around us can leave us feeling weak, unworthy, and like a total flop.
But it is important and vital for you to remember and believe that God loves you. As tough as it may be sometimes to rely only on the love of our Father as we yearn for the actual physical contact of someone close to us, it is imperative to draw nearer to God through His Word, through meditation with Him, and through prayer.

On a daily basis I believe God is right there beside me, holding my hand, touching my shoulders, listening to every word and thought. I speak to Him as if He were physically standing right there with me. He is there with me everyday, throughout the day. It draws me closer to Him and lifts me up in spirit. I have more joy in my life through the daily ups and downs that can really drag me to the sewer.

Remember God's view of you, my dear brothers and sisters:
  • Created in God's image.  Of all the creatures the Lord created, only man and woman were designed like Him.  God chose to give us emotions, a will, a mind, a spirit which enables us to worship and relate to God.  We were to walk in perfect harmony with Him.  We were born sinless  and perfect until....
  • Corrupted by Sin.  ...that day in the Garden of Eden.  Oooh, Eve, if you had not listened to satan.  Now we are all marred with the scars of the original sin.  Mankind stood spiritually dead, without hope, and condemned before a holy God.  None of us are without sin.  None of us are worthy to walk with God as He intended.  Now we must use the minds and spirits He has given to us to draw closer to Him.
  • Worthy of Redemption.  Thank the Lord Jesus. The Lord considered us to be worthy of redemption.  So what did He do?  He sent His One and Only Son  to redeem us through the His blood on the cross.  Thank you, Jesus, that you were stronger than us and resisted satan's temptations.  Christ agreed to take our sins upon the cross and die so that we may live.

So remember amidst the trials, heartaches, slander, to recognize our worth in the Lord's eyes.  That reality can energize our minds and hearts so that we may serve and renew our love for the One who gave Himself to bring us back to God.

Stay focused, loved one!

He lives!

Love, Mary Ludolph
