Think your way to success!

"..whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." (Philippians 4:8)

Healthy thinking is the key contribution to godly success.  We are to focus on that which is good for us.  What is good for us?  Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness - these are the fruits of the Spirit.

We need to be aware of what our fleshy bodies tell us is good - "For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want." (Galatians 5:17)

Staying strong in our relationship with God through prayer and scripture is vitally important to living a healthy, pure life and vitally important to living a successful life in order to discern what is right and what is wrong and to discern what is a need and just greed.

Paul knew all to well the ups and downs of life.  He had abundance but he also knew about depletion.  He was widely admired as well as heavily persecuted and imprisoned.  Yet, Paul, was joyful always because of his relationship with God.  He was a committed man to the Lord thinking godly thoughts whether his life was marked by tragedy or by blessing.


How will you think today?  Will you be let down by failure and allow Satan to reap you of your hope and faith in Christ Jesus?  Or will you sing praises to the Almighty Lord and give Him thanksgiving for what He has given to you!

Look around you today and see the many blessings the Lord has bestowed to you and give Him thanks!  Even in the worst of times, in tragedy and sickness, through our failures, there is always blessings abound.
