Feeling imperfect?

I rejoice in the fact that we all fall short of God's glory. No human being is meant to be perfect. Only our Lord Heavenly Father who created the Heavens and earth, who created us and everything around us is perfect.

We are a work in progress. I rejoice in the fact that He who has given me life has such mercy on me. For it is too much for me to go it alone. It is too much for me to achieve perfectness on my own.

I will never be perfect or close to it. God knows that yet He still loves me. He is always there for me. Always forgiving. Always bringing comfort and joy to my life. Never abandons me no matter what!

I praise you, Oh Heavenly Father, and thank you for being my Creator, Intercessor, Healer, and so much more. I thank you for the new life you have given me in Jesus Christ. I thank you for the toils and trials in my life which make me stronger and rely more on you today than yesterday.

I pray for all who do not know You. I pray that they will soon see Your Light and find comfort in You.

I pray for our nation to become more like You and to unite together.

I give all this to you in your Son, Jesus', name. Amen!
