Prayerlessness

A conversation with God is uplifting and encouraging. It is a discovery process of one's own self and their relationship with The Almighty. It is a peeling away and breaking down of worldly strongholds that keep us distant from our Creator. It is being thankful for all that you have in your life (physical and tangible as well as emotionally, mentally, spiritually.) It is giving praise where it is due to the Author and Creator of our lives. This is prayer.

A life without prayer endangers our well being. It will leave us weak, helpless, confused, angered, embittered....The negatives outway the positives of a prayerless life.

God created us to walk with Him and talk with Him. Although you may not be able to see Him sitting next to you or hear His voice as you hear that of a physical person, He is there, He is listening, and He will speak with you in that still, quiet voice.

The Lord promises us in His Word that if we "cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall." (Psalm 55:22)

Psalm 68:19
Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.

Do not allow yourself to be weighted by your burdens.

Cast your worries, fears, anxieties and all that ails you upon the Lord so that you may be open to receive His goodness. If you weigh yourself down, you will not be open to receive the Lord's blessings. You will be so blinded by what ails you that you will miss the awesome opportunities He has in store for you.
