Praise God! All who Breathe Praise Him!

When was the last time you thanked God for creating you, your family, friends, the grass, the flowers, the sky. Look around you today and see if you have a "God Sighting." The sightings can be found everywhere: in your home, work, outside, during a drive, in someone, in yourself.

Praise the Lord, oh my soul, for He is bountiful, slow to anger, merciful, and just. His love abounds the heavens and the earth. Praise Him for His powerful creation. Praise Him for all He has accomplished and will accomplish.

I praise you, Oh Heavenly Father, to wake up this morning with a song in my heart for You and for creating me. I praise you, Lord, for allowing me to wake up today. I praise You, Almighty Father, for my husband and my children. I praise you, Lord, for your mighty works. The beautiful flowers, the dirt that nurtures Your beauty, the fog rolling in this morning, the little moment from my 2-year-old this morning that sent my heart whirling. May I always enjoy those little moments and treasure them. Praise You for this day, Oh God. Praise You for your compassion, justness, and love. May I learn to be more like you and not judge others but love each individual regardless of iniquities with mercy and kindness.

Psalm 149

1 Praise the LORD. [a]
Sing to the LORD a new song,
his praise in the assembly of the saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
let the people of Zion be glad in their King.

3 Let them praise his name with dancing
and make music to him with tambourine and harp.

4 For the LORD takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with salvation.

5 Let the saints rejoice in this honor
and sing for joy on their beds.

6 May the praise of God be in their mouths
and a double-edged sword in their hands,

7 to inflict vengeance on the nations
and punishment on the peoples,

8 to bind their kings with fetters,
their nobles with shackles of iron,

9 to carry out the sentence written against them.
This is the glory of all his saints.
Praise the LORD.
