May God grant you the serenity to accept the things you cannot change; the courage to change the things you can; and the wisdom to know the difference.
A story I would like to share with you that heard on The Family Life Network yesterday.
A preacher was speaking to a member of his congregation when he noticed that his three year old standing next to him was emulating his every move. When dad would cross his arms so would son, when dad would lean against the wall so would son...
So the preacher asked his son what he was doing. His son responded, "I want to be just like you, dad!"
The preacher said to his son, "Well, son, you ought to be more like Jesus."
The son said to his father, "Dad, I'll tell you what. You be more like Jesus and I will be just like you."

Life lesson gentlemen! (And to all reading this...) Our children look up to you and want to be just like you. Show them by example what it truly means to be a man of God, a follower of Jesus Christ, a loving and forgiving human being.....these are hard shoes to fill. But the Lord Jesus is with us every step of the way. He is only a prayer away.
